About Me
I'm a native of Southeast Texas who grew up in a family photography business--Gunn's Studio in Orange, Texas. After graduating college at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, I became a high school English teacher which eventually led me to being a multimedia teacher. I am now officially retired after teaching for 34 years. I am currently working at the Stark Museum in Orange, Texas where my passion for art and photography inspire me every day.
I have a son named Vinny, and a dog named Luna ("LuLu") whom I adopted from the Humane Society in Monroe, Louisiana.
My favorite things are dogs, wine, jazz, and photography. I currently volunteer at local animal shelters where I photograph dogs for social media sites in the hopes that they will be adopted.
